I went in during the day on Thursday, to exchange a foundation that wasn’t quite the correct match.

I’d ordered online with a payment method that caused a little trouble completing the return, and was treated incredibly graciously by the associate and their manager.

Joanie and Genesis helped me find the perfect match, and helped me find the perfect primer. I haven’t worn much makeup since my cancer treatment because of how bad my skin looked—in the process of healing now. It was the first time I’ve felt my skin looked “pretty” with foundation in over a year.

The staff was helpful, but I was told by cashier that I could “hang up my basket” on my way out. I did so but I’ve never been to a store that doesn’t just take the basket that you’re using to carry around all your items at the register. Seemed a bit passive aggressive to me

The salon at Elmwood is by far the overall best salon in Jefferson Parish. Stylist Andy is my go to guy and I never will let anyone else touch my hair.

Andy is super talented, professional and “real.” I went to Andy with a “train wreck” of bad color and super dry unmanageable hair and after 3 personalized “fix” plan, my color is absolutely beautiful and I never use my straight iron.

In addition, as an Ulta rewards member, every dollar I spend at the salon, I earn more $$ towards my next salon purchase. What other salon offers that?

Andy will not disappoint. ?

I don’t ever write reviews and I didn’t want to but this incident rubbed me the wrong way. I was at this ulta with my family and there’s only 3 of us that were shopping. The rest of us just decided to wait around the store until they were finished. This lady who’s African American and had horns on today I assume was a vendor was “suspicious” of us and was reporting us to a head cashier perhaps. But my mom did say people told her we were waiting for people but she was being rude and was too close to us. It made us uncomfortable and I hate the fact that I’m writing a review because I know this can affect other workers but this was an unacceptable behavior from a vendor. I do thank the head cashier that listened to my sisters complaint. And I give 5 stars to other employees customer service. And I hope the management takes this seriously because having her up there making customers uncomfortable is something that no one should be doing. That lady also accused my cousins of opening certain products but they were open already and a worker herself said that they were open. I saw her pointing at us and complaining about us.

Andy did an AMAZING job! So meticulous and sweet, washed my hair so carefully that none of my makeup came off. My new fave stylist for sure!

Discovering that they didn't have the kind of mascara that I was looking for a lovely associate recommended a different brand of mascara that was significantly cheaper and has worked very well. I really appreciate the help

just w meh experience. walked up to a group of 3 employees after looking for 5 or 7 min for a product. the employees were angry to be interrupted/asked a question and told me what they had out was all they had. I then spent a bit longer looking and asked another employee and there were able to find it in 10 seconds for me.

then got into line... 15 people in line and only one cashier.

find a different Ulta if you can, this one is not it.

Needed help with Mac but the artist was too busy talking with other staff members and they all seemed annoyed when i approached them. Was not friendly and made me feel unwelcome. Store is usually great so that was unfortunate.
