Knowledgable and I appreciate that. However the poor bedside manner, dismissive attitude, and condescending behavior was so upsetting. Seems like she’s only there to collect a paycheck, not actually help people who need it.

This Dr had very poor bedside manner. Her interaction with me as a patient was cold and dismissive. I was in the hospital suffering from a newly diagnosed stroke when this Dr was the referred physician on call for the weekend while I was in the hospital. She informed me that I had suffered a stroke and she had no idea why. She told me if she had a guess she would say I had afib and that was the cause of my stroke.I explained to her I had been checked by my cardiologist several times and have never had any diagnoses of a fib. She did not offer any other possible diagnosis nor did she refer me to a cardiologist. Had I not brought it to the attention of the staff I would have been discharged with a very high chance of having another stroke to follow. That did not seem to be a concern of hers though. I understand it may be other things you have to do on a Sunday morning but when you take an oath to put the patients first I feel that’s what your priority should be.

Horrible neurologist, she misdiagnosed me with multiple sclerosis before doing all the testing to confirm. As soon as the results came back that I did not have MS she passed me off to a new neurologist and wouldn't see me again. She is bad news!

As a nervous patient trying to find answers, I brought my questions to Dr. Chennu and she answered them with confidence. My condition has been very difficult to diagnose among every single doctor I've visited, but her evaluation aligned with a Dr's opinion from Mayo Clinic. If you do your research and work with her (bring your questions!), you'll be glad to have visited her for her opinion. She is "to the point" as many patients have mentioned in other reviews, but that is exactly what we need. Don't be afraid of asking doctors anything that is bothering you.

About 10 years ago, when I was only about 34 years old, Dr. Chennu saved my life in an emergency room after a stroke. She has provided excellent follow up care since. She makes me feel important.

I have been going to Dr. Chennu for almost 7 years & she is the "BEST" of the best. She has always been very caring & listens & without her, I would not of recovered, to the point that I have. I would highly recommend Dr. Chennu to any family members or friends & we so much appreciate her.

STAY AWAY!!!! Her bedside manner is awful. She will let you know that you are inconveniencing her. She will treat you like a liar and she does not listen nor does she care about what is wrong with you. I was laying in a hospital bed having seizures and she was unfortunately my neurologist while at Baylor. I was trying to tell her my symptoms but due to the seizures I was having problems communicating. So I asked my mom who was next to me to tell her what had happened to me. So she cut me off and very rudely and loudly said "NO LET ME TELL YOU WHAT'S GOING ON..." I couldn't believe her rudeness. Please, please stay away from this horrible woman...
