Seen this surgeon while in the hospital on two recent occasions. August/September 2024. Has very poor bedside manners. And if he asks if you have any questions, he means don't ask him why he came to the NO NO NO decision on surgery. Because he can't explain it and is rude. Plus he refused to even have new MRI AND OR CAT SCANS done. Went off old records from Nov, 2023. And what a previous surgeons consultation report was. Do not recommend this surgeon. Does not IMO look at the patient being in the equation at all. Narcissistic is the word that comes to my mind.

Dr Mannas gave my wife Faviola her life back !!! He was very assuring after her surgery that she would recover and it’s been 3 weeks and she has absolutely 0 back pain. Sebastian also did a very good job explaining everything for us. I would have to say he is the best neurosurgeon this side of Texas!!! Thank you so much for helping my wife get her life back again!!!!

Highly recommend Dr. Jonathan P. Mannas. For the people that have been turned away from him for being overweight. You deserve the negative review!!! I can say this because I was one that was turned away for being overweight. The only difference was that I did something about it. Dr. Mannas said, "Lose 25 to 30lbs. then come back to see me. " At first, I too was mad and felt body shamed. It was kinda like my motivation to prove I'd be back......No excuses! I lost 40lbs and had surgery May 16th. Thank you Dr. Mannas and your staff!! Road to recovery

Dr. Mannas is extremely smart, caring, deliberate, and thoughtful in his approach. I had a spinal nerve and arm nerve pain concern that he investigated and offered very clear and well thought out next steps for. He took the time to explain everything clearly to ensure understanding and patiently answered all of my questions. I truly felt that he was looking out for my absolute best long term interests. Dr. Mannas should be your first choice when you need the expertise and care of a neurosurgeon.

Dr. Mannas was a true blessing for my family. My dad needed a good doctor and I’m so glad we he was there for us.

My dad struggled for years with sever back pain and since his surgery his pain has gone from a 10 to 0.

He can walk now and he can stand without pain. My dad was given a second chance at his life thanks for Dr. Mannas.

I hope he knows how much we appreciate him because he’s changed our life for the better.

Thank you to Sebastian and Silvia as well! Y’all have all been amazing!

This doctor was such a blessing to us. My husbands back pain was so unbearable, he couldn’t sleep or even sit in a car, he had to hunch over a bean bag chair, there was no relief at all. After surgery and recovery he went back to normal activities and the pain was completely gone! Thanks so much Doctor Mannas

I only have 1 star because there is nothing less but in reality I would have given no stars. I visited this dr today and was turned away because I am over his BMI preference to have surgery. I have been dealing with back pain for several years and I waited 6 months to just see this doctor. I have 4 kids and I cannot work because I cannot stand without physical pain. I am in tears most days and bed ridden other days, I can not walk well, stand, drive or exercise because I am in agony every day. So now I’ve been told to loose weight and quit smoking in order to have a surgery I desperately need. I am depressed and sad all the time because I can’t contribute to my families needs. This is not ok and I feel disappointed. I didn’t wait 6 months to see him to be told I’m fat. This was his medical opinion but it was not my medical necessity. no one I know has ever been told to loose weight first it’s ridicules. If I broke my leg do you think they would tell me to loose weight before they could fix it? It doesn’t make sense. How can someone loose 25 more lbs?. He must have missed the part where I said I cant freakin walk!!! This is the reason I need the surgery so I can walk and go back to work. What’s wrong with that? DR Mannas Dosent seem to have a lot of years of experience anyways. I needed someone who can give me my life back I am only 35 and I guess he couldn’t do it! He should have just said he couldn’t do an extensive surgery not use body shaming as an excuse.
